Information on Spine Fellowships Not Commonly Discussed was created by ortho6131
Wanted some information on a few programs as I am about to start the process of applying for spine fellowship. I am interested in going to a research heavy academic program and I have a few names that I have not seen mentioned very often in the past. Wondering what the word is out there on these programs:
1. University of Chicago
2. Harvard - Brigham, Mas General and Beth Israel
3. Yale
4. Dartmouth-Hitchcock - Abdu's fellowship
5. 3B Orthopaedics - University of Pennsylvania
6. Duke
7. NYU-HJD
Any input would really be appreciated.

Replied by on topic Of the programs you listed,
Of the programs you listed, NYU probably has the best reputation. 3B orthopaedics is not a good fellowship from hearsay. Yale's fellowship is new and I believe they just started it last year or 2 yrs ago. None of these fellowships that you listed would raise eyebrows in the spine academic circles. If you want a heavy research program, you have to go where the big names are...
