Richard- Fundamentals of Orthopaedics by Brinker and Miller is a great entry level text that I really enjoyed, and it helped me tremendously during my ortho rotations: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... s&n=507846 Also, Netter's concise Atlas or Orthopaedic Anatomy is a new, small book that fits in the white coat easily, and has great pics and clinically relevant material. i'm about to start a pedi ortho rotation. does anyone know a good pedi ortho book? thanks in advance.

Go to the library and check out "Lovell and Winter's Pediatric Orthopedics" It is a two volume set, but provides farely short chapters on the majority of the stuff you'll see on a peds ortho rotation. I wouldn't recommend reading it from cover to cover, but to read selected chapters after you figure out what you'rs seeing on the rotation.
