Does anyone know a good website or resource that covers information on the outlook/direction for orthopaedics in the upcoming years, problems practioners are facing, new inovations in the field, etc... I'm interested in know what the practicing environment is like now and in the upcoming years. Thanks.
I would suggest looking through the AAOS site. They have a lot of demographic information on orthopedics now compared to several years ago. You can also read Orthopedics Today which sometimes talks about advances in orthopedics and changes in the practice environment. I would not anticipate much change in the practice environment other than reimbursement and marketing issues
