Are there certain places that perennially contact applicants after the interview?

Yeah. It seems like there are a bunch of threads from previous years about program contact after interview season and before rank lists are in. I feel like we must be getting pretty close to that time.

I hear that Utah has made calls to its "ranked to match" any letters or emails from HSS, other places?

Utah does not make calls, they used to but don't anymore. HSS does, Pitt does, I'm not sure about who else

Anyone heard anything from Davis yet? Last couple of years they emailed their top 15. And rumor has it they even let their top 4 know where they stand as well.

Has anyone heard anything from Case? It looks like last year around this time (see link to thread in post above) they contacted applicants who were "at the top of the rank list".

Campbell Clinic has been known to call its top 8, but who knows if they still do...

When will HSS emails go out? What were they previous years? Also, what other programs send stuff out?

I don't know if Campbell still does, but if so, they had their final round of interviews this past weekend and said they wouldn't finalize their rank list for a little while. Wisconsin said they do contact their top group but years past it seems not until mid February.

From my experience and a few others I know, something like this: "Thanks for the note. Best of luck in the match." Every one of them has been a generic response. Not sure they are afraid to say more or we are just crappy applicants shooting for the stars.
