I second that opinion. Only I bumped into my advisory dean in the hall and he said that he wasn't looking for me - that definately made the email message much less stressful. Beers all around!

Congrats to those who received a positive NRMP email.... I had a bit of a scare, as I was called by the Dean's office at 9:30am....fuc$%# admissions lady wanting to know if i would interview prospective med students....i almost bitched her out! INSTEAD I WENT OVER TO SCHOOL....GAVE HER A MUSHROOM TATTOO AND A DIRTY SANCHEZ! HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT BIATCH? again congrats!

holy guacamole i'm in!!! my big scare was my smart-ass wife who kept bringing the phone in and saying i had a call. hilarious. congrats to my new colleagues, and my heartfelt condolences for those that are still seeking their path. best of luck on that one remaining spot, and i'm sure that you will all land on your feet. In there like swimwear!!!!! I saw there was 1 PGY1 ortho spot on the NRMP site. I guess the Wisconsin scare from last year and the increasing qualities of applicants made for a tough year.

I can't believe it. I had about 10 dreams the past couple weeks in which I didn't match, so I pinched myself about 20 times once I read the e-mail saying that I matched. Congrats to everyone who matched and good luck to those who didn't. Hope my luck continues on the 18th...

I matched. Unfortunately, I'm still banging out 4th year requirements. But I do plan on drinking lots of beer thursday night. By the way, does anyone have any good tips for treating/preventing hangovers. It's been awhile since I've had any ETOH.
