Has anyone heard whether the number of applications to orthopaedics is up or down this year? I've heard its higher than usual but that isn't confirmed. Anybody else heard anything? Gambit P.S. WDE this weekend!!
One coordinator told me apps to THEIR program were significantly less than last year. I don't know how much external validity this has though.

I had an interview yesterday at Albert Einstein and the program director told all of us in the beginning that this year the applications have gone up by 25% at his program... h well:

An e-mail from Hopkins also said that this year was the highest number of apps in the last 12 years
