Just to let everyone know, our interview invites will be extended starting this week(not all at once). We will be interviewing on 2 Saturdays: Jan 25th and Feb 15th. We will have a night out the evening before for drinks and appetizers. Also, we are happy to let prospective candidates know that we have a new Sports Medicine full time faculty starting in February, Robin Gehrman MD. We also have a couple of chairmen candidates in negotiations with the Dean, so things are looking even better in Morgantown. Good luck! holy cow, feb 15th is pretty late in the season. Not much chance of a conflict there, ehh?

We typically have interviewed very late and rank lists go in later than usual this year. Its good to make an impression right at the end...thats probably why i did my residency at WVU!

If you email me I'd be happy to answer any questions you have and refer you to one of our residents. I'll also send you a copy of my sub I tip sheet, which I'm sure others would agree is pretty good. We are currently interviewing for a new chairman here at WVU. Eric Jones is our interim program director and I'm the education director. Our residents are still very busy with good operative cases / clinics as they are working with our private group more and our new sports medicine surgeon, Robin Gehrman starts this week. We may also add another trauma surgeon and possibly someone to the private group in the near future. The Dean seems committed to expanding the department as he did with Neurosurgery and Gen Surgery lately. Maybe even a new ortho building???? Thanks for the interest.
