Florida, Campbell, Carolinas so far. IU waitlisted. @ 3.9, @ 250, step II in the spring, AOA, honors in all but one third year, honors in two ortho rotations and the rest of fourth year so far. I also read something about some research once or twice, I think (kiddin).

Stats: -Step 1-240s -Junior AOA -Couple scholarships -Honors everything (High Pass one preclinical) -One non-ortho research experience which resulted in presentation, some experience following ortho research very distantly (collecting old papers etc...) -One away rotation (at residency affiliated site, really just for fun, not for letters)

Applied to 29 schools. Accepted interviews from Wisconsin, Mayo, Iowa, Loyola and Florida. Denied offers from Indiana U, Penn State, U of Rochester and U of Chicago. Wake Forest asked me to try elsewhere (ha, ha). Step I-246, AOA, some research :pimp:

Applied to 40 Offers: Mayo, Duke, Campbell, UF, Kalamazoo, JPS, OU, Yale, UTMB, UM-Columbia, Ark-Little Rock. Stiff-arms: Wake Forest, New Mexico. Applied to about 10 west coast programs as well, have not heard from any. Probably that whole "west coast bias" thing.
