Was very surprised. Recent chiefs were finishing with 2000+ cases, which is pretty sweet since their hours/call schedule aren't too bad. They actually take home call starting their PGY 1 year. I was thinking of cool little things to make it "special" for everyone. For example, this year we coaxed Verizon Wireless to set up a booth out side the room we use for the match with cell phones so people can make long distance calls to their friends/family for free!
