Congrats to those that matched : )
Knew this was a possibility, but still shocked to get the bad news. I'm not going to bother to list my stats. I think it just freaked me out when I looked at applicants' numbers from previous years who didn't match. My interviews are in the official thread and if anyone cares enough they can look there. My only advice is to do your aways at places that are realistic/slightly more competitive, work your butt off while on them and just be yourself. Even if you're a hard worker a lot of it is about "program fit" and personality can play a huge part in your final ranking. I was pretty quiet on my roations and this found its way into my LOR's. On interviews, I was questioned on this multiple times. I think this can be percieved as being standoff-ish and disinterested. Just my opinion. Now doing a prelim at a program with a highly regarded ortho department. Going to kick ass next year as an intern and we'll see what happens. And congrats to everyone who matched
