has anybody heard anyting about arizona, or know anybody that rotated or interviewed there? I had heard hints of the program being 'malignant' and trauma heavy. any truth? know anything about call schedule, attendings, strengths/weaknesses? ):)

I know one of the interns there and he loves it. Has not experienced any malignancy and speaks highly of the facilities and Tuscon. of course, he has only been there for a few months. probably not enough time to really feel the program out.

I rotated at the u of a. I definitely wouldn't call the program malignant. You definitely get a lot of OR time. The call schedule varies. The attendings are all good. Stengths - trauma, joint, sports.
