The Miami Orthopaedic Research Foundation in collaboration with the Larkin Community Hospital Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking a highly motivated MD or DO graduate or current applicant (including unmatched applicants) for a 2-year paid Orthopaedic Research Fellowship. This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with Dr. Arturo Corces, Program Director, and a high-volume adult reconstruction service, while integrating closely with orthopaedic surgery residents in an academically active environment. Position OverviewThe research fellow will play a central leadership role in all ongoing research activities within the department. This includes managing and advancing a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple subspecialties. - Lead and coordinate multiple research projects across: [list]
- Clinical outcomes (retrospective and prospective studies)
- Industry-sponsored studies
- Systematic reviews and meta-analyses
- Database studies
- High-volume exposure to adult reconstruction (hip and knee arthroplasty)
- Opportunities for biomechanical research through affiliated lab collaborations
- Strong emphasis on first-author publications and national presentations
- Active mentorship with a focus on residency match success and academic productivity

- Strong interest in orthopaedic surgery
- Demonstrated research experience preferred but not required
- Experience with statistical analysis, RStudio, and REDCap
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects
- Strong writing and communication skills
