I have a question for those of us not lucky enough to have recieved a phone call. So if a program makes some calls and you dont get one, does that mean you have no chance of matching there?
DO NOT CHANGE YOUR RANK LIST BASED ON PHONE CALLS sorry for the all caps, but i cannot stress that enough. the match is entirely in your favor. anything you do that alters the ranklist from your true preferences only hurts you. if you didn't get a call from program X, but it is still your first choice, leave it there. either you will match there or you won't, but if you lower them on your list you'll never know

As mentioned above - the point of the match is to rank your programs in order and not to be influenced by phone calls, letters, post-cards, promises, or any other communication! It would be better for everyone if there was a NO COMMUNICATION policy as we have in the Shoulder and Elbow match but the rules do allow some communication. Again, good luck and rank 'em the way you like 'em! wnl
