Anyone know of very qualified applicants that got snubbed despite playing the game correctly (doing aways and ranking plenty of programs)? Good luck to everyone tomorrow. I just wanted to add some more stats to my initial thread so they are not completely misleading... I just took step II a couple weeks ago, so no programs had a score for the application, I had like a 3.8-3.9 for the first two years and honored only 3 core clerkships for my third year (neither internal medicine nor surgery), and I don't come from a prestigious medical school. I would say my school is middle of the road, if not lower tier. Hope this helps... ============================
