I am just curious about what the ortho lifestyle is like post-residency. Are they equivalent to say a ct surgeon. How many hours/week. Is there time to have a family, etc. Any answers or expansion on the question would be greatly appreciated.
Your lifestyle is what you make of it. You can work hard taking lots of call, run clinics late and work into the evening every night or you can be home by 4:00 everyday and take call every couple of weeks and spend lots of time with your kids. I would error towards the latter.
