I just received a grade for an away rotation. I think the narrative + grade would be helpful for me-is there any way to update my application with this new addition?

Might also want to try calling the person that wrote you the letter and see if they can be an advocate, ie. make personal emails/calls etc. to specific programs.Yeah, I have a shot at matching there now. I hate pestering people... I don't want to be that annoying medical student who takes time out of a busy surgeon's day.Ya, that was me last year. Didn't work out for me so well... The one piece of advice I got over and over again is you need a mentor advocate who will go to bat for you during this process. You have to do everything you can to separate yourself from the pack and stand out. It's a fine line between being annoying and sincere, but the worst thing you can do is nothing. Just my two cents...
