FILLED - THIS OPPORTUNITY IS NO LONGER OPEN TO APPLICATIONS University of Illinois at Chicago Orthopaedic Biomechanics Research Fellowship 2026-2027 Opportunity for Post-Match Medical Students  This role is a one-year, salaried, full-time research position:
  • Design and execute basic science and clinical research projects, manage ongoing projects, submit to national conferences and major journals
  • Mentor medical students
  • Opportunity to work directly with Dr. Farid Amirouche, director of orthopaedic research
  • Collaborate with multiple members of the orthopaedic faculty including the department chair, Dr. Mark Gonzalez, and the residency program director, Dr. Alfonso Mejia
