The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Loyola University in Chicago is seeking a qualified student for a paid clinical research fellowship with the joints department. The targeted start date is July 2025 for a duration of one year.  We will consider undergraduate students, medical students between third and fourth year, and graduated or unmatched medical students.

The research assistant will work closely with approximately 2 or 3 attendings in the department. Responsibilities include managing IRB submissions, data collection, manuscript preparation and submission, as well as working alongside medical students and residents. In addition, the research assistants work closely with the department research coordinator and the department statistician.  There will be plenty of opportunities to manage submissions to local, regional, and national meetings along with manuscript participation and publication.

Applicants should submit an application to the current research assistant and include:
- A cover letter or personal statement
- CV (include test scores if available ie Step 1, Step 2, etc)

Please email requested materials to the current research assistant Whisper Grayson at whisper.grayson@luhs.org
