Position Title: Clinical Research Fellow Location: Palm Beach, FL Number of Positions: 2 available (1 Paid, 1 Volunteer) Duration: 1 year Who: US medical students between their M3/M4 years Application Deadline: December 8th, 2023 The research fellow will work under the direct mentorship of Dr. Vani Sabesan (Program Director at HCA JFK/University of Miami). Position Duties: • Design and execute numerous prospective and retrospective clinical studies, book chapters, invited review articles, IRB submissions, protocols, and grant proposals. • Statistical analysis of data • Manage prospective randomized controlled trials • Manage a group of medical students interested in orthopaedic research  Position Benefits: • The research fellow should expect to have 15-25 publications/chapters/abstracts by the end of the research year. • Engage closely with the residency program by participating in fracture conferences, grand rounds, journal clubs, and hands-on training initiatives such as cadaver labs. • Opportunities to present research at local, national, and international orthopaedic conferences   Application Requirements: • Brief Cover Letter • CV (including Step 1 and Step 2 score, if available) Please send application documents and the expected starting date to grjackson.md@gmail.com
