Orthopaedic Spine Clinical Research Fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center

This is a one year, salaried, full-time clinical research position during the academic year from July 2023 thru June 2024. Ideal candidates are medical students interested in orthopaedic surgery who are looking to spend a gap year dedicated to full-time clinical research. As well as recently graduated students who did not match in orthopaedics or related fields are welcome to apply.  The fellowship obligations include:

• Continuation of current research projects
• Development of new studies and projects
• Publication and presentation of completed projects locally and nationally
• Attend twice monthly spine section research conference
• Mentoring of first and second year medical students with their research project

Prerequisites: An individual who is hard working, responsible, self-starter, and collegial and personable Prior fellows have done exceptionally well in completion of multiple projects and resultant growth of their CV in preparation for a career in orthopaedics or other musculoskeletal specialty.  THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED
