Research Fellowship Experience
This is a wonderful opportunity for highly-motivated individuals to strengthen their applications for the orthopedic surgery residency match. The research fellow is expected to work on numerous projects with several investigators, the clinical fellow, and residents. Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are paramount. The division currently has over 40 active and ongoing projects.

Duties of the fellow include, but are not limited to:

In addition, there are opportunities to be mentored in clinical and research settings. Fellows will also have the ability to audit courses related to clinical research duties and data analysis skills at the NYU School of Medicine.

This is an unpaid opportunity. Participants must live around NYC as remote work is not feasible.

Application Process
Selected applicants will be interviewed and offers made on a rolling basis based on medical school performance, research experience, and interest in the program. Required documents include CV (include USMLE +/- Comlex scores) and a cover letter detailing your interest.

Please email application materials to NYUShoulderandElbowResearch@nyulangone.org with subject line: Application - NYU Shoulder and Elbow Research Fellowship 2025-2026.
