I am offering a 12 month long clinical research fellowship position to current 3rd and 4th year medical students for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year. Applications are currently being accepted and the start date is negotiable. The position will involve working directly with me on sports related hip surgery clinical outcomes research. The fellow will be an employee of IU Health with a salary of $35k per year without benefits. At this time I can only consider domestic applications as this position is not eligible for an international work visa. The expectation of this position is to be academically productive in orthopaedics in preparation for application (or re-application) for an orthopaedic surgery residency position. For research publications, the research fellow will be involved in the entire process from manuscript writing to final publication.

-Experience with reference management software (Endote, Refworks, etc.) is encouraged but not required
-Experience with statistical analysis and data interpretation are encouraged but not required.
