The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH and Lenox Hill Hospital, New York, NY invite all interested and qualified individuals to apply for a "two-year" orthopaedic research fellowship position with Michael A. Mont, M.D in Joint Reconstruction. This is a salaried position that will begin on July 1, 2018 and is open to all candidates who will be medical school graduates by that time. Two candidates will be selected to join Dr. Mont's joint research team at Cleveland Clinic and Lenox Hill Hospitals.

This presents an opportunity to work with national and international leaders in the areas of total joint replacement and osteonecrosis, to assist with FDA trials of new drugs and devices, to gather and analyze data, to attend and present your work at regional and national conferences, and to prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Previous fellows have published multiple PubMed-listed articles and have presented at the annual AAOS meetings during their fellowships. This is an excellent way to improve your CV and increase your chance of matching to an orthopaedic residency.

Previous research fellows, including allopathic, osteopathic, and IMGs, have successfully entered U.S. orthopaedic residency programs (95% success rate).
