We are seeking applications for a 1-year unpaid research internship in adult reconstruction at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix Arizona. The year will be spent working directly with four fellowship trained adult reconstruction surgeons. There are extensive research opportunities and databases available, with the expectation of completing 20+ publications by the end of the year. Applicants must have completed at least two years of medical school prior to starting. Ideal applicants are those looking to apply to orthopedic residency and are looking to significantly improve their applications through research. Basic research and statistics experience is preferred. Fellows will also be working directly with residents on projects and will attend weekly orthopedic didactics, and monthly journal clubs and cadaver dissections. The internship will start in July of 2023. Top applicants will be interviewed, and formal offers of acceptance will go out by June 1st.
