What you should take away from this presentation

The opportunity exists to combine experience of rare conditions using the Internet to form a Virtual Center of Excellence.

An attempt to do this has been started at
http://www.orthogate.org/orcid

The site has not attracted attention and contributions as yet

Without participation by other members of the orthopaedic
community the site will fail

What your should do if you support the aims and concept

Visit the site.

Send in comments about the conditions that you have experience with.

Add to the bibliographies.

If you have cases of the conditions already posted send as full a case history as you can manage and it will be posted.

If you have a case with a condition which fulfils the criteria please send it. The editor will convert paper and Xrays to computer files if needed.
