The University of Connecticut recently approved the establishment of a Pediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, CT.  The one-year fellowship begins in 2013 and continues the long tradition of Pediatric Orthopaedic training first initiated at Newington Children’s Hospital, one of the four seminal Pediatric Orthopaedic Centers in the nation.

Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Division of Orthopaedics, is looking for an exceptional individual interested in doing an adult reconstruction fellowship for the 2012-2013 academic year. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated individual looking to expand and challenge his/her knowledge of orthopaedics and to work closely with Adult Reconstruction Orthopaedic Surgery faculty, including the division chairman, in clinic, surgical arenas, and research. The fellow should have: graduated from an LCME-accredited medical school or an AOA-accredited osteopathic school; completed an ACGME-accredited orthopaedic residency; be board-eligible or certified in orthopaedic surgery; ability to obtain a permanent Illinois license; and accepted on staff at affiliated hospitals. Please note that the interested individual should have a J1 VISA, greencard, or US citizenship.
