Hello.

Having survived a THR 5/8/09 at a startling young age, I now have a blog about the whole dreadful thing. It tracks my experience from initial pain through all the treatments I tried, through the decision for surgery, the surgery, and the rehab---including accounts of my progress in PT and getting back to athletics.

You can see it here:http://abluetruedreamofsky.blogspot.com

Well I just joined or I should say found this site. I just had my labrum repaired (slap tear) surgically repaired. Wow I had to have the surgery done because the pain had really become an everyday thing. I could not even lean back on my elbows, I could not throw a ball. I had that achy feeling all the time. Anyways to make a long story short I bit the bullet and had it done. Well that was 7/17/09. My ortho was a great doctor. My PT is another story. It is very painful. I feel as if I am being tortured ever...

No pain meds beside non-prescription analgesics and muscle relaxants from time to time. But since the beginning of February 2009, I'm having increasin...
