AOA selection

Postby OrthoPleaseMatch2012 » Sun Oct 16, 2011 9:34 pm

Hello Dr. Levine.
I just posted a similar questions on the general forum, but wanted to ask you as an expert.

I just received AOA selection.
Besides updating the ERAS, is there a different way to communicate it to the programs?
Do programs even download/update the profile page (where AOA status is mentioned)? And is it worth emailing them with this? And what will they think if I did?

Thank you for your time.

If you update ERAS then your application will be "updated" and sent to the programs to which you have applied. I do have some applicants send me emails regarding this information and I think it's an individual decision. You can send an email to the program coordinator informing them of the new change to your application, etc...

Congratulations and good luck --
