hello all - I am a current US PGY-4 resident slated to go to Auckland, New Zealand for a 3 months elective rotation (January through March 2009). I am focusing on trauma (adult and pedi) as well as sports (at the Adidas Sports Medicine Institute in Auckland). Other opportunities include spine and hand. The position is a paid one and malpractice is minimal. In my program, I can only go for 3 months, but the group in NZ would like the position filled for a total of 6 months and they are open to another resident taking up the other 3 months. This is a pretty ridiculously awesome opportunity (High end orthopaedics in New Zealand, paid position etc.) and anyone who could fill the April, May and June 2009 block would also really help me out. Please PM if interested and I can give you more details - thanks

Hi there,
In my program, we can do only 1 month abroad--would you mind sharing your info so I could look into potentially setting this up independently? Thanks, and good luck!
