Reading advice for a soon to be intern

Postby ephman90 » Mon Mar 31, 2008 5:13 pm

Now that the cloud 9 high of match day has come and gone, does anyone have any advice about what I should be reading inbetween now & July 1st? I feel like I should be studying anatomy, but besides that, what would seasoned residents suggest for a summer reading list? Thanks for all the help, I feel like I am going to need it come July one.

Just relax, Enjoy your time off. Plenty of time to learn in residency. Most of intern year is non-ortho so you will forget a lot anyway and have to relearn it. If you must read then go over the basic fracture classifications in Rockwood or the fracture handbook.
