Orthopaedics: Wright Medical Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: WMGI), a global orthopaedic medical device company, will sponsor two live webcasts detailing tendon and ligament applications of the Company's GRAFTJACKET® Regenerative Tissue Matrix in the foot and ankle. The live webcasts will take place Wednesday, May 3 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time and again at 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time. These events will also be archived on this site for twelve months. These webcasts are the second in a series designed to educate foot and ankle surgeons on the versatility and potential clinical benefits of this exciting technology.

 

The webcasts will include surgical demonstrations utilizing Wright's GRAFTJACKET® Regenerative Tissue Matrix to reinforce primary tendon and ligament repairs associated with Achilles tendon ruptures, flat foot deformity and chronic ankle sprains. Interactive question and answer sessions will also be featured for participants of both live web events. The webcasts will be moderated by Gerit D. Mulder, DPM, Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of California San Diego and will be hosted on campus.

Joining Dr. Mulder will be Daniel Lee, DPM, Assistant Clinical Professor and Director of Foot & Ankle Services at the University of California San Diego; Stephen A. Brigido, DPM of East Stroudsburg, PA's Foot and Ankle Center at Coordinated Health; and Marie Williams, DPM, Residency Director at Barry University. Through these discussions, Wright hopes to give surgeon participants a complete view of the GRAFTJACKET® Matrix as an advanced choice to reinforce challenging soft-tissue repairs in the foot and ankle.
