Still have major problems 3 years after arthroscopic surgery to remove most of the medial menesci. My leg is bowed out to the extent of being like 3 inches shorter than the other leg. I have a lot of pain, especially when trying to take care of my regular activities in life. Having problems sleeping at night due to pain. Am on strong pain meds as needed, but have to take more to ease pain than I use to. I am told they don't want to do a knee replacement because I am 54. My quality of life is not good at this point due to my knee pain and the bow in my knee is causing me problems with a bulging disk in my back. What can I do? |
