I have rheumatoid arthritis. Last year I had bursitis & physical therapy which improved the pain and it slowly seemed to heal. As I walked out the door the therapist cheerfully reminded me to do my exercises! My big mistake was NOT doing them. Now I am in stage 2 of a frozen shoulder and about to have anesthetic and a shoulder manipulation. I have found a lot of useful info about "frozen shoulder" or "adhesive capsulitis" but no much about the recovery after a manipulation - from the patient's point of view.
